Trailwood Hills - HOA Board meeting on May 12, 2009

The Board met on May 12, 2009 and following is a brief outline of the matters discussed. Alex will be heading up the neighborhood beautification project. He will be meeting with our landscaper to get a proposal to beautify the common areas in our neighborhood. After we have received a bid, and possibly bids from other landscapers, the Board will choose a landscaper and get the process going. Alex mentioned that several homeowners have volunteered to help with the beautification of the common areas, and it was suggested that we offer the "sweat equity" of these homeowners to any landscaper proposal to offset some of the costs. Alex will also be meeting with sign companies about improving our sign at the Trailwood Hills Drive and Lineberry entrance, moving the Alder Ridge and Lineberry sign to the pool entrance, and putting a new sign at Alder Ridge and Lineberry and a new sign as you come into our neighborhood from Camden Crossing. The signs and beautification will be funded by the reserves (within limits). There was also discussion regarding uniformity of mailboxes.

The new pool keys are being distributed and the system will be in place for the pool opening Memorial weekend. The Board decided that the fining process for the pool with respect to having a dog in the pool area and having glass in the pool area will be a warning letter for the first offense, a $100 fine for the second offense, and loss of pool privileges for the third offense.

Letters will be going out soon regarding the upcoming assessment of Alder Ridge and Trailwood Hills Drive regarding restricting the parking on these streets to one-side.

The pool party is currently scheduled for July 18, 2009.
